Spring Semester 2014 I took the Service Learning 1000 Class. I expanded the service learning I began in my class in a small way in the fall by adding three more community partners. I began with Wasatch Community Gardens in the fall. A video and images are below, describe some of the projects my students are involved with. Spring Semester I added the Road Home, Neighborhood House and YMCA. Here is my Service Learning Proposal
Carly Gillespie from Wasatch Community Gardens talks about the importance of community action regarding Utah's food shortage. Their mission is to empower people of all ages and incomes to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food.
